Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said that the team will "need to calculate if there's someone we covet and need to make a run to get to 12, 13." (Source: John Shipley on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: While every team does preliminary work on their options for trading up and trading down, the latter of which Baalke has done in the past, he specifically brought up the 12-14 range in the NFL Draft multiple times in his press conference. That could be an indication of their willingness to move assets for the right player or a talent cutoff on their board. It's unlikely they make a pre-draft trade, but the Jaguars could prepare to move up if the right player is available.

Fantasy Impact: The deal includes $88 million in guaranteed money. The team elected to use the franchise tag on their star pass rusher, but are now able to lock up a key member of their defense for the next five seasons. Allen tallied a franchise record 17.5 sacks last season and will remain one of the best pass rushers heading into the 2024 season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars restructured the contract of Brandon Scherff. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Scherff had a cap number of $24 million, so this move allows Jacksonville to keep him on the offensive line. This comes after they also re-signed Ezra Cleveland.

Veteran CB Darious Williams is being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars in a cap-saving move. (Source: Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Jaguars are in a disadvantaged position when it comes to retaining edge rusher Josh Allen, and they need to shed cap to create room to keep him in-house. Williams — who is now in his 30s — had a productive year, posting career-high marks in PFF coverage grade (85.3), interceptions (four), passes defended (19) and forced fumbles (two). A tough decision for the Jaguars, but a solid cornerback is now available on the open market.

Evan Engram caught 10-of-13 targets for 79 yards with a touchdown in the Jaguars' 28-20 loss against the Titans.

Fantasy Impact: Engram finishes the year with 963 yards and four touchdowns on 114 receptions. It was a career year right after signing an extension with Jacksonville. He should remain in a similar role with Trevor Lawrence next season.

Zay Jones caught 6-of-9 targets for 47 yards in the Jaguars' 28-20 loss against the Titans.

Fantasy Impact: Jones missed over half the season due to injuries. He was able to show flashes of success when healthy this year, but it didn't come in a consistent manner. He has one more year left on his current deal with Jacksonville.

Tank Bigsby ran for 16 yards in three carries in the Jaguars' 28-20 loss against the Titans.

Fantasy Impact: Bigsby drew some hype all offseason as the potential goal-line back in the Jacksonville backfield. He saw 50 carries and scored two touchdowns this season. He'll likely command a similar role next year behind Travis Etienne.

Category: Game Recaps

Travis Etienne Jr. ran for 57 yards on 16 carries in the Jaguars' 28-20 loss against the Titans. He also caught 5-of-6 targets for an additional 30 yards through the air.

Fantasy Impact: Etienne had a lot of his production come in the passing game on the afternoon. He ends the season rushing for 1,008 yards and 11 touchdowns on 267 carries. He caught 58 passes as well, but was pretty inconsistent from a fantasy perspective during the second half of the season. He should hold similar value next season in fantasy drafts.

Jaguars WR Christian Kirk is officially inactive for a Week 18 matchup with the Titans.

Fantasy Impact: Kirk was activated from injured reserve Saturday, but he will not suit up. Kirk has missed the last four games after undergoing core muscle surgery and just recently returned to practice.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR and return specialist Jamal Agnew will be out for the remainder of the 2023 season due to a leg fracture suffered in Week 17's win. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Agnew had only just recently returned from a previous stint on injured reserve, having missed Weeks 11-14. Though he is not often used on offense, he brings a level of depth and dynamism that the Jaguars lack elsewhere (three games of 45+ yards). Agnew is also impactful in the return game, both on punts and kickoffs. Parker Washington (punts) and D'Ernest Johnson (kickoffs) will replace his role as a returner.
