Jamal Agnew
WR -
2024 Outlook
Jacksonville Jaguars WR and return specialist Jamal Agnew will be out for the remainder of the 2023 season due to a leg fracture suffered in Week 17's win.
Fantasy Impact
Agnew had only just recently returned from a previous stint on injured reserve, having missed Weeks 11-14. Though he is not often used on offense, he brings a level of depth and dynamism that the Jaguars lack elsewhere (three games of 45+ yards). Agnew is also impactful in the return game, both on punts and kickoffs. Parker Washington (punts) and D'Ernest Johnson (kickoffs) will replace his role as a returner.
Jamal Agnew caught 2-of-2 targets for 53 yards in the Jaguars' 26-0 win over the Panthers.
Fantasy Impact
It was a 48-yard reception that accounted for most of the production on the afternoon for Agnew. He remains off the fantasy radar.
Jamal Agnew caught 1-of-4 targets for 12 yards in the Jaguars' 30-12 loss against the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact
Agnew was quiet after catching a long touchdown last week. He remains a big play dependent WR4 from a fantasy perspective.
Jamal Agnew caught both of his targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in a 23-7 loss to the Ravens in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact
Agnew was activated from injured reserve on Saturday after he missed four games with a shoulder injury. He scored Jacksonville's only touchdown on a 65-yard catch from Trevor Lawrence in the loss on Sunday night. Jaguars wideout Zay Jones injured his hamstring during the game and could be looking at a multi-week absence, which would push more work onto Agnew's plate. The Jaguars will take on the Buccaneers in Week 16.
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jamal Agnew (shoulder) has been activated off of the team's injured reserve list and will be available for Week 15.
Fantasy Impact
Agnew was a limited participant in practice all week as he returned from his stint on the team's IR. Agnew missed the minimum four games and returns to the lineup. With WR Christian Kirk out, Agnew may see increased time on the field as a WR (four games with more than 30% of offensive snaps), but he specializes as the team's specialist, returning both kicks and punts.
