There is no "imminent" new deal for Lions QB Jared Goff, despite new deals for OT Penei Sewell and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. (Source: Adam Schefter)

Fantasy Impact: Goff will still lead one of the NFL's most explosive offenses, but his future with the Lions remains a bit murky. He's a solid QB2 for fantasy at this point.

Penei Sewell agreed to a contract extension with the Lions this week, making him the new highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL. (Source: Mike Garafolo)

Fantasy Impact: Sewell has been a terrific player for the Lions since they drafted, earning an All-Pro nod, so this contract is absolutely deserved.

Rashod Bateman and the Ravens have agreed to a contract extension through 2026. (Source: Ravens on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Bateman will now remain with the team that drafted him for the next few seasons. The former first-round pick recorded 367 receiving yards and one touchdown on 32 receptions in 16 games last season.

Alex Highsmith and the Steelers have agreed to a restructured salary that will create $7M in salary cap space. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: This move will free up the Steelers to make more additions prior to the start of training camp. The 26-year-old tallied seven sacks, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions last season.

The Bengals exercised the fifth-year option on WR Ja'Marr Chase's contract. The expectation is that contract talks will begin soon. (Source: Cincinnati Bengals)

Fantasy Impact: It's not surprising that the Bengals picked up Chase's option. The former top-five pick has been a massive piece of Cincinnati's offense whenever he plays and figures to reset the WR market, whenever he signs his new contract.

The Broncos are picking up Pat Surtain II's fifth-year option of $19.8 million for the 2025 season. (Source: Chris Tomasson on X)

Fantasy Impact: It comes as no surprise that the Broncos are picking up the two-time Pro Bowler's fifth-year option. Although the Broncos are looking to add pieces on both sides of the ball, Surtain II remains a tough matchup for opposing wide receivers.

The Bengals signed free agent QB Logan Woodside to a one-year contract, per Adam Schefter (Source: Adam Schefter)

Fantasy Impact: Woodside makes his return to the team that drafted him in 2018, and will serve as the QB3 for the Bengals this year.

Jake Browning signed a two-year contract with the Bengals on Tuesday, ensuring he'd be with the team through the 2025 season. (Source: Adam Schefter)

Fantasy Impact: Browning impressed when Joe Burrow went down with a season-ending finger injury last season, so it's good the Bengals want to keep him around. If he ever needs to start, he's a solid QB2 option for fantasy.

Zach Wilson traded to Denver

By Jesse Garcia

The Broncos have acquired Zach Wilson from the Jets in exchange for a late-round pick swap. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: The swap is a sixth round pick for a seventh round pick and the Jets will play around $5.5M of Wilson’s salary. The Broncos now head into the NFL Draft with Jarrett Stidham, Zach Wilson, and Ben DiNucci as the three quarterbacks currently on their roster. Based on the current quarterback group, Wilson could have a chance in camp to compete for the starting quarterback job.

Matt Ryan officially announced his retirement Monday. (Source: Falcons on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Ryan will retire as a member of the Falcons, the team in which he holds the record for passing yards, passing touchdowns, completions, passing rating, and wins. He retires with a 65.6% completion percentage, 62,792 passing yards, and 381 passing touchdowns in his 15 year career.

Dare Ogunbowale is signing a one-year deal with the Texans. The 29-year-old RB spent the past two seasons in Houston. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Ogunbowale figures to be the third or fourth RB on this depth chart. His impact will mostly be felt in the special teams game. He may sparingly be used as a pass-catching option on third down as well.

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle is expected to have his fifth-year option picked up by the front office, says team general manager Chris Grier. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Waddle has been an excellent pick for the Dolphins since being taken sixth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. With three straight 1,000-yard, four-TD seasons to start his career (3,385 yards and 18 TDs), Waddle has been an efficiency monster while serving as the team's WR2 alongside Tyreek Hill. He has averaged 13.5 yards per catch and will likely be a big part of Miami's future with Hill hinting at a possible early retirement in a few years.

The Cowboys have signed Royce Freeman to a one-year contract. (Source: Todd Archer on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Freeman will join a Cowboys’ backfield that does not have a clear cut starter. The veteran tallied 319 yards and two touchdowns on 77 carries with the Rams last season. Fantasy managers should expect Freeman to compete for the starting job in training camp.

The Eagles and WR DeVonta Smith have agreed to a three-year, $75M extension. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: The deal includes $51M guaranteed. The deal locks up the 25-year-old wide receiver after he tallied 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns on 81 receptions last season. The former first-round pick has recorded two consecutive 1,000 yard seasons and will remain a key component of the Eagles’ offense.

DeForest Buckner has signed a two-year, $46M extension with the Colts. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: The new contract ties Buckner to the team through the 2026 season. The 30-year-old tallied 45 solo tackles, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles last season.

Deonte Harty has signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens. The former Bills WR totalled 15 receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown last season. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Harty's impact will mostly be felt in the special teams unit. As a former special teams pro-bowler in 2019, he will provide some explosiveness to the Ravens' return game. Harty's arrival will not impact the usage of the likes of Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews.

Laken Tomlinson has signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The veteran LG spent the last two seasons as a member of the New York Jets. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Tomlinson looks to provide some much-needed stability for this offensive line unit that struggled in 2023. Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are likely the biggest beneficiaries of this move. If Tomlinson can stay healthy and continue to perform at a high level, these RBs will have better holes to run through.

The Saints have agreed to terms with WR Equanimeous St. Brown. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: St. Brown appeared in seven games with the Bears last season, recording 62 receiving yards on six receptions. Fantasy managers should expect the veteran to operate as a depth wide receiver for the Saints.

The Saints have agreed to terms with the QB Kellen Mond. (Source: Katherine Terrell on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Mond has appeared in just one game in his career, completing two passes in 2021. The former third-round pick was most recently on the Colts’ practice squad in 2023. Fantasy managers should expect Mond to compete for the backup role.

Veteran free agent TE C.J. Uzomah is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Uzomah spent the beginning of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals as a fifth-round TE before spending his last pair of seasons with the New York Jets. Heading into his 10th NFL season, he will serve as a backup TE for the Eagles behind TE Dallas Goedert. Uzomah has had two 400-yard seasons but just 58 yards in 2023.
