View More NewsAccording to Lindsey Thiry of ESPN, third-year CB Asante Samuel Jr. has had a strong start to training camp, including a play where he picked off a Justin Herbert pass to Keenan Allen.
Fantasy Impact
Samuel emerged immediately in the league, totaling four interceptions and 22 passes defended between his first two seasons. However, he burst on the scene last postseason with a hat trick of interceptions against Jacksonville. Samuel, the son of a four-time Pro Bowl CB, will continue to be an important part of the Chargers defense as they look for a CB to line up opposite of him.
