Terrace Marshall Jr.
WR - Carolina Panthers
2024 Outlook
Terrace Marshall Jr. caught one of his three targets for 11 yards in a 16-13 loss to the Bears in Week 10's Thursday night game.
Fantasy Impact
Marshall saw an expanded role with D.J. Chark Jr. (elbow) inactive for the game but he wasn't able to convert that into much fantasy production. The third-year wideout out of LSU has just two catches on eight targets over his past four games. Marshall will not be a strong fantasy play in Week 11 against the Cowboys, even if Chark is forced to sit out another game.
WR Terrace Marshall Jr. has been given the option to seek trade opportunities from other teams as he seeks a larger offensive role.
Fantasy Impact
Marshall, a former second-round pick, has struggled to see the field consistently at the NFL level. Between Weeks 3 and 4 he had 14 catches, a solid stretch for the former LSU Tiger who has career numbers of 61 catches for 742 yards and one touchdown. Additionally complicating things, Carolina has been reportedly looking to add to the WR position. Carolina says he is welcome back if he does not find a trade.
Terrace Marshall caught 9-of-10 targets for 56 yards in the Panthers’ 21-13 win over the Vikings.
Fantasy Impact
Marshall led the team in receptions and targets in the loss Sunday. The 23-year-old has seen at least six targets in three games this season, making him a viable flex option in deeper leagues. Marshall and the Panthers will take on the Lions in Week 5.
Terrace Marshall Jr. caught five of eight passes for 35 yards in the Panthers' 37-27 loss to the Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
Marshall logged 90 percent of snaps during the season opener before going untargeted in Week 2. His role has definitely fluctuated through just three games, but he's been reliable when called upon and could generate some low-end fantasy appeal later in the season.
Terrace Marshall Jr. was a limited participant in practice Wednesday with a back injury ahead of the Panthers' Week 1 matchup against Atlanta.
Fantasy Impact
Marshall has yet to produce at the NFL level after being drafted out of LSU, but with a new coaching staff and QB in 2023, the still young wideout get a fresh start. However, the slate is not totally clean, as the WR is dealing with a back injury. If he, or any of the other injured Panthers WRs, can't play Sunday, rookie Jonathan Mingo should see a lot of work immediately.
