Michael Gallup
WR - Las Vegas Raiders
2024 Outlook
The Baltimore Ravens are meeting with free agent WR Michael Gallup on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
While the Ravens' passing attack was improved from years past, it's still a thin group that's expected to lose Odell Beckham Jr.; with a three-wide grouping of Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor, Baltimore could use another veteran. Gallup could provide a vertical threat that the team does not currently have.
The Cowboys have released WR Michael Gallup.
Fantasy Impact
The move is designated as a post-June 1 cut to save the team $9.5M in 2024 cap space. The Cowboys have been quiet in free agency as the team has limited cap space to work with, making this more necessary in order to fill needs at other positions.
Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup has been permitted to seek out a trade partner amid speculation that he is a cut candidate.
Fantasy Impact
According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Gallup's trade market is tricky given that teams anticipate the veteran WR gets released. Gallup was dished a five-year, $57.5 million deal in 2022, though Dallas has an out in the contract this offseason. He has dealt with injuries in the past and has averaged a 17-game pace of just 46 catches for 547 yards and three touchdowns over his last three seasons.
Michael Gallup was unable to catch either of his two targets in a 38-10 win over the Commanders in Week 18.
Fantasy Impact
Gallup was quiet in the regular-season finale. He wraps up his sixth NFL season with 34 catches for 418 yards and two touchdowns. Gallup will now prepare to take on the Packers in next week's playoff game.
Michael Gallup caught both of his targets for four yards in the Cowboys' 22-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 16.
Fantasy Impact
Gallup continues a dismal stretch as part of the Dallas passing attack, receiving two targets or less in each of his last five games for the Cowboys. The wideout's consistently low involvement in the Dallas offense makes Gallup a difficult option to trust ahead of a Week 17 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
