Justin Herbert (finger) out for the season

Justin Herbert is having surgery Tuesday on his fractured right index finger and will miss the remainder of the season

Fantasy Impact

Herbert suffered the injury in Sunday's loss against the Broncos. He won't return this year, which could have part to do with the Chargers having nothing to play for. It is a big blow to the fantasy value of Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen for fantasy managers in the playoffs. It'll be Easton Stick undercenter for the Chargers the rest of the season.

Justin Herbert (finger) not expected to play in Week 15

Justin Herbert is not expected to play on Thursday against the Raiders due to his fractured right index finger and he will be consulting with Dr. Steven Shin to determine the extent of the injury and how much time he will miss.

Fantasy Impact

Herbert was never going to play on a short week after suffering a fractured finger. It is possible he doesn't play again this year with the Chargers having nothing to play for, but that remains a situation to monitor. It will be Easton Stick facing Aidan O’Connell Thursday night.

Justin Herbert (finger) ruled out after 96-yard outing

Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert (finger) has been ruled out for the remainder of the Week 14 bout with the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Impact

Hebert ended his day going 9-for-17 passing with 96 yards and an interception. Los Angeles was down to divisional foe Denver, and already scoreless, they face an uphill battle without Herbert. Easton Stick is next up for the Chargers, and Herbert's status should be monitored in practice.

Justin Herbert quiet in defensive battle in Week 13 win

Justin Herbert completed 22-of-37 passes for 212 yards in the Chargers’ 6-0 win over New England.

Fantasy Impact

Herbert and the Chargers’ offense were clearly impacted by the tough weather conditions. Luckily for the Chargers, Herbert and the offense did enough to get Cameron Dicker in position to kick two field goals to give the team the win. The Chargers will take on the Broncos next week in a pivotal matchup in the AFC playoff picture.

Fantasy Impact

Herbert also lost a fumble in a mistake-filled evening for the Chargers. The veteran quarterback's lone touchdown pass went to tight end Gerald Everett on a three-yard toss in the fourth quarter. Now sitting on 2,826 passing yards and 20 touchdowns, Herbert will look to bounce back in Week 13 against the Patriots.
