Joshua Palmer
WR - Los Angeles Chargers
2024 Outlook
Joshua Palmer was limited at practice Thursday
Fantasy Impact
Palmer was sidelined last week as he was in the concussion protocol. He will have a chance to clear the protocols and play in the season finale.
Los Angeles Chargers WR Joshua Palmer (concussion) has been ruled out of the team's Week 17 matchup with division rivals Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Palmer did not advance through the league's concussion protocol in time for this week's AFC West showdown, and he didn't practice, meaning he likely was not close. Whether or not he will be available in the season finale is unclear, but with both Palmer and Keenan Allen out, Quentin Johnston is by default the team's WR1 down the stretch.
Chargers WR Joshua Palmer (concussion) did not participate in practice Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Palmer missed Wednesday’s practice session as well and will have one more practice to gain clearance from the NFL’s concussion protocol. Fantasy managers should expect Quentin Johnston and Jalen Guyton to see additional targets should Palmer miss the team’s game against the Broncos.
Joshua Palmer was sidelined at practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Palmer is in the concussion protocol. Gerald Everett, Jalen Guyton and Quentin Johnston would see more targets if he is sidelined, especially if Keenan Allen (heel) also remains sidelined.
Joshua Palmer caught 5-of-8 targets for 47 yards in Saturday's 24-22 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact
The Chargers were without Keenan Allen again in Week 16 as he continues to nurse a heel injury, so Palmer once again had to step up as the team's top receiver. He ended the day with just 47 yards, but that was enough to lead the team. He didn't completely bust in PPR formats but didn't have a very good outing, which is a good sign to leave him on the waiver wire for the rest of the season.
