Haason Reddick
DE - New York Jets
2024 Outlook
The Eagles are trading Haason Reddick to the New York Jets for a conditional 2026 third-round pick.
Fantasy Impact
The 2026 pick becomes a 2nd if Reddick has 67.5% playtime this season and has 10 or more sacks. If not, it’s a 2023 third. There had been conflicting reports this offseason as far as Reddick requesting a trade, but he now lands with the Jets under Robert Saleh.
Haason Reddick reportedly said he did not request a trade and wants to stay with the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
This comes after a report came out on Sunday that Reddick requested a trade. “I would like to get an extension done here at home," Redick said. "At no point did I ever tell the organization I want to be traded.” The two sides will likely look to work out an extension this offseason.
Haason Reddick has received permission to seek a trade this offseason.
Fantasy Impact
Reddick recorded 11 sacks this past season and has combined for 27 sacks in his past two years with the Eagles. He is entering the final year of his contract as he seeks an extension.
Haason Reddick says that he'll be ready for Philadelphia's Week 1 matchup against the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Impact
Reddick's status for Week 1 has been up in the air because of a thumb surgery he underwent earlier this offseason, but he claims that he's going to be ready to play against the Patriots in Week 1. He also implied that the team will have him in some kind of a brace or cast for the game to help prevent further injury. The veteran was a key piece of Philadelphia's dominant pass rush last year, so his presence on this defense will make a major impact for the better.
Haason Reddick is undergoing thumb surgery for the injury he suffered Monday. The 28-year-old had a career year last year totaling 16 sacks and five forced fumbles.
Fantasy Impact
Haason Reddick is a vital part of not only the Eagles' defensive line but also the Eagles' Defense. Expect some kind of decline, whether it be sack totals or tackles, but the depth the Eagles have is so good that they are going to have a six maybe eight-man rotation.
