George Pickens will play on Saturday

Steelers WR George Pickens will suit up on Saturday, per head coach Mike Tomlin.

Fantasy Impact

Pickens’ status and commitment to the team came into question after he admitted to not blocking on a running play to avoid injury. With the change in quarterback to Mason Rudolph and Pickens lack of production, fantasy managers can safely leave him out of their lineups for Week 16.

George Pickens logs 47 receiving yards in loss

George Pickens caught 3-of-7 passes for 47 yards in Saturday's 30-13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Impact

Fantasy managers of Pickens haven't been happy with how he's been producing this year, and that didn't change on Saturday. He caught just three passes on the day, and while his rough quarterback situation may be partially to blame, it's still frustrating to see him have yet another poor showing for fantasy purposes. He is borderline rosterable in most fantasy leagues for the rest of the season.

George Pickens catches five passes in Week 14

George Pickens caught five of his six targets for 19 yards in a 21-18 loss to the Patriots in Week 14.

Fantasy Impact

Pickens actually led the Steelers in receptions but he was unable to get anything going downfield as he averaged just 3.8 yards per catch. The second-year wideout has seen at least five targets in four straight games but he hasn't scored since Week 8 against Jacksonville. Pickens will be a WR3 in Week 15 against the Colts.
