Tre'Quan Smith signs with Lions

Fantasy Impact:
Following five seasons with the Saints, Smith spent almost all of the 2023 season on the Broncos practice squad. The former third-round pick, now 28, was not extending a contract offer by the Broncos, so that cleared the way for him to sign with another team. Smith gives the Lions some added depth at wide receiver, as the team could lose both Donovan Peoples-Jones and Josh Reynolds to free agency. Smith averaged 26 receptions for 353 yards with 18 total touchdowns for the Saints from 2018 to 2022.
