Ben Skowronek is expected to see an increased role on offense in the absence of Van Jefferson, according to NFL insider Aaron Wilson. Skowronek will operate as the third receiver behind Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson. (Aaron Wilson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Skowronek only has 11 career catches for 133 yards. He could be a solid low-cost play in DFS leagues but is not a must-start in standard fantasy leagues. His short-term value is tied almost entirely to Jefferson's status, but he isn't someone fantasy managers should trust in their Week 1 lineups even with a projected increase in playing time.
