Fantasy Impact: The Houston Texans made a statement confirming Dell only suffered minor wounds and has been released from the hospital. Dell was one of ten innocent bystanders hurt during the shooting, and is expected to make a full recovery.

The Houston Texans have selected RB Jawhar Jordan with the No. 205 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: Jordan will provide the Texans with a solid option as a kick returner and a third down option. He will look to carve out a role in training camp to remain on the roster among a crowded backfield.

Fantasy Impact: The Texans are converting his future injury-guaranteed money into guaranteed money in 2024, giving him a one-year pay raise and setting him up for free agency in 2025. Diggs, who appeared to lose a step — for one reason or another — in 2023 has an incentive to perform in 2024 for a new payday. However, the Texans are not eligible for compensatory-pick compensation for Diggs if he leaves due to the nature of his restructured deal.

Fantasy Impact: Tart could join 2023 teammate Sheldon Rankins in Cincinnati after the two played together in Houston. In 11 games with Tennessee last season, Tart had eight tackles for loss but was waived and claimed by the Texans. Tart could help provide depth for Cincy's defensive interior.

Fantasy Impact: Collins has been an active member of Houston's front seven recently, starting 46 games over the last three seasons. The former Texan, Las Vegas Raider and Dallas Cowboy has 25.5 sacks and 46 tackles for loss in 119 games and eight seasons in the NFL. He can play alongside Javon Hargrave after the Niners moved off of Arik Armstead.

Fantasy Impact: Townsend was not expected to return to the Chiefs after they signed Matt Araiza. He took a small step back last season compared to the year prior, but remains capable of being one of the top punters in the NFL.

Schultz was productive during his years with Dallas, and after he didn't have the strongest market in 2023, his one-year deal with Houston proved to be worth it, turning into a $12 million-per-year contract. He finished 2023 as the half-PPR TE11.
