When asked if fellow 2021 rookie Nico Collins was a matchup problem, QB Davis Mills responded with a resounding yes: "Definitely, yeah, size and athletic abilities. I don't think there's too many people out there who can play and jump with him.” (houstontexans.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Collins has a clear path to serving as the Texans' WR2 after rookie John Metchie III was diagnosed with APL. The second-year wideout had just 33 catches for 446 yards and a touchdown as a rookie. Expect those numbers to soar in Year 2 and don't be afraid to target Collins as someone who could emerge with a large bulk of targets on a team that projects to be down in many games this season.
