The Indianapolis Colts selected WR Adonai Mitchell with the No. 52 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

Fantasy Impact: The wide receiver out of Texas fell a bit further than expected. He lands with the Colts who are expected to get Anthony Richardson back under center to begin next season. He'll have the chance to earn an immediate role in the Colts offense alongside Michael Pittman out of training camp.

The Carolina Panthers have selected RB Jonathon Brooks with the No. 46th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: Ari Meirov on X)

Fantasy Impact: Brooks is the first running back off the board in the 2024 Draft, likely drafted due to the lackluster running back performances by new teammates Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders. Both of Brooks' new teammates averaged less than 4 yards per carry last year, something Carolina needs to improve upon if they want to give QB Bryce Young a real chance to succeed. It remains a muddy backfield to predict until we see and hear more from training camp and practice.

The New England Patriots have selected WR Ja'Lynn Polk with the No. 37 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: Check back shortly for the fantasy impact.

The Los Angeles Chargers have selected WR Ladd McConkey with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: The Chargers moved up in a trade with the Patriots to select McConkey. The Chargers traded their second-round pick (37) and fourth-round pick (110) in exchange for the Patriots' second-round pick (34) and fifth-round pick (137). Considering the Chargers moved on from Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, McConkey should see plenty of targets in his rookie season.

The Buffalo Bills selected WR Keon Coleman with the No. 33 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: After trading down twice out of the first round on Thursday, the Bills have selected Coleman out of Florida State. After trading Stefon Diggs, the expectation was they would draft a wide receiver early. They were also in the middle of rumors to potentially trade for Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel or Tee Higgins but this move likely leaves them out of that conversation.

The Carolina Panthers have selected Xavier Legette with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact: The selection gives Bryce Young another WR to work with. With Dave Canales now in the fold, this offense should show great improvements. Legette will have to compete with Adam Thielen and Diontae Johnson for targets in his rookie year.

The 49ers selected WR Ricky Pearsall with the 31st pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: Might we see a Brandon Aiyuk trade? Pearsall will be a solid add to the 49ers receiving corps

Following a trade down with the Vikings, the Jaguars selected Brian Thomas Jr. with the 23rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: Thomas should step into Calvin Ridley's old role, serving as a field stretcher for Trevor Lawrence.

The Las Vegas Raiders selected TE Brock Bowers with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: Bowers was expected to be drafted earlier by some, but he instead falls to the Raiders at No. 13. Bowers is considered as the best tight end prospect in recent years, and as more of a wide receiver than a tight end by some people. He should have a huge immediate role in the Raiders offense.

The Denver Broncos have selected Bo Nix with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact: Bo Nix will be competing with Zach Wilson to earn the starting QB role in Denver. Unfortunately for him, the group of weapons at his disposal is slightly underwhelming. Nix is unlikely to be fantasy relevant in redraft formats.

The Minnesota Vikings have selected QB J.J. McCarthy with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: The Vikings traded up with the Jets to make the pick and select their quarterback of the future. The full terms of the trade are the Vikings receiving picks 10 and 203 and the Jets receiving 11, 129, and 157. McCarthy improved his draft stock with a stellar 2023 season for Michigan. He will benefit from a talented group of pass catchers already established on the Vikings’ roster.

The Chicago Bears have selected WR Rome Odunze with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: Odunze will join Caleb Williams as the top-10 picks in Chicago. The standout wide receiver out of Washington figures to form one of the top wide receiver trios in the NFL alongside Keenan Allen and DJ Moore. The fantasy value of Odunze will be something to monitor throughout training camp to see what role he plays alongside the two veterans.

The Atlanta Falcons have selected Michael Penix Jr. with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: NFL.com )

Fantasy Impact: Penix figures to be a backup option to Kirk Cousins for the first couple years of his career. This will be a great opportunity for the young QB to learn behind the established veteran. From a fantasy perspective, it will be years before Penix makes an impact.

The New York Giants have selected WR Malik Nabers with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: Nabers has the build and pedigree to immediately step in as the Giants WR1. The former LSU Tiger tallied 1,569 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns on 89 receptions last season. Nabers will have the challenge of having a major question mark at quarterback in his rookie season, as he will likely be catching passes from Drew Lock to start the season.

The Los Angeles Chargers have selected OT Joe Alt with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: The big question here for the Chargers was trading down, addressing the offensive line or bringing in an offensive weapon like Malik Nabers. They elected to address the offensive line with Alt in what figures to be a run-heavy offense under Jim Harbaugh.

The Arizona Cardinals have selected Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact: Harrison joins a WR room that is in dire need of depth. He and Trey McBride will be Kyler Murray's go-to targets this upcoming season. The talent is undeniable and the volume should be secure. Marvin Harrison Jr. will be a very compelling fantasy asset.

The New England Patriots have selected QB Drake Mayer with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: https://www.nfl.com/draft/tracker/picks/)

Fantasy Impact: Maye immediately becomes the quarterback of the future for the Patriots, and hopefully will mesh well with new coach Jerod Mayo.

The Washington Commanders have selected QB Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: The reigning Heisman Trophy winner was the favorite to take over at quarterback in Washington in 2024. The former LSU Tiger completed 72.2% of his passes, with 3,812 passing yards, and 40 touchdowns in an amazing final season in college. Daniels will have Austin Ekeler, Brian Robinson, Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, and Zach Ertz as his primary play makers. The one concern for Daniels and the Commanders is protecting the rookie quarterback with an offensive line that struggled in 2023.

The Chicago Bears have selected QB Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: This was the expectation all offseason and it is now official. With the Bears trading Justin Fields, Williams is expected to step in as the Week 1 starter for Chicago. He'll have Keenan Allen, DJ Moore and Cole Kmet to throw to, as well as D'Andre Swift out of the backfield and a potential rookie receiver if they don't trade out of the No. 9 pick. With his offensive weapons and rushing ability, Williams should be fantasy relevant right away. The biggest question will be the offensive line he is playing behind.
