Teravainen has heated up in the offensive zone of late, registering points in four of his last five games (two goals, seven assists) in four of his last five games for the Hurricanes. The winger has been one of many mostly steady options as part of a disciplined Carolina forward group for head coach Rod Brindamour, recording 34 points (16 goals, 18 assists) in 50 games so far this season.

Teravainein might actually be worth rostering in shallower formats right now, as the Canes are hot and we have seen him produce points at a high rate in the past. While 32 points in 51 games is a little underwhelming, the exposure to the elite talent around him is something you won't really find elsewhere on the waiver wire. If you are in need of a spark on offence, Teravainen is worth a pickup.
