Fantasy Impact: Clowney has spent the last five seasons playing on one-year deals, and he chose the Panthers over the New York Jets, who were unwilling to offer him that stability. For Clowney, this is somewhat of a return home, as he grew up and went to college in South Carolina and will now play in North Carolina. In a career that started slow as he struggled to live up to pre-draft hype, Clowney has become a steady contributor (10 seasons, 52.5 sacks, 99 TFLs) and will provide for a pass-rush-needy Panthers team sans Brian Burns.

He appeared in nine games and caught just 18 passes for 184 yards and one score. Hurst, a former first-round pick, could make his way onto his fifth team in his NFL career.

Fantasy Impact: Hubbard, who took over the RB1 role from Miles Sanders midseason, started all 12 games for the Panthers after Week 6. He averaged 62.3 yards per game as a starter, including five total touchdowns and five games with 80+ rushing yards. The Panthers are set to head into 2024 with Hubbard, who is entering his fourth season, and Sanders, who will be in Year 2 of his big contract and will become cuttable after 2024.

Matthew Wright missed is lone field goal attempt in the Panthers’ 9-0 loss to Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact: Wright missed his lone attempt, a 52-yarder late in the third quarter. Wright was in for the injured Eddy Pineiro. Wright will look to compete for a kicking job in 2024.

DJ Chark Jr. caught 2-of-4 targets for 46 yards in the Panthers’ 9-0 loss to Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact: Chark will finish his first season in Carolina with 525 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 35 receptions. The 27-year-old is set to test free agency at the conclusion of the 2023 season.

Adam Thielen caught 2-of-3 targets for 12 yards in the Panthers’ 9-0 loss to Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact: Thielen’s first season in Carolina ends on a quiet note. Despite the lack of production Sunday, the veteran will end the season with over 100 receptions and 1,000 yards. Thielen clearly built chemistry with rookie Bryce Young and will look to build upon that in 2024.

Miles Sanders rushed for 18 yards on three carries in the Panthers’ 9-0 loss to Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact: Sanders finishes his first season in Carolina on a disappointing note. The 26-year-old will finish with 432 rushing yards and one touchdown on 129 carries. Sanders will likely remain in a depth role unless he can improve in a new offense in 2024.
