Kellen Mond waived by Saints on Wednesday

Fantasy Impact:
Mond signed with the Saints in April, but they ended up drafting QB Spencer Rattler in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, likely leading to the former Texas A&M Aggie being waived. Though he is still only 24, the former third-round pick has not yet started a game and has only had one pro appearance while playing for four teams in four seasons. Mond will likely land on another team's practice squad somewhere, but his young stint in the league has quickly approached journeyman status.
