With the potential mounting that the Broncos will move on from veteran QB Russell Wilson before the start of the new league year in mid-March, NFL.com's insiders reported that the Broncos could look at Stidham as an option for next season to bridge a young QB. Stidham has one year left on his two-year, $10 million deal, and he started the last couple of games in 2023. With the No. 12 pick, the Broncos may opt to take a QB in the NFL Draft, or they could get aggressive and look for a trade-up opportunity. If they bring in a young QB, Stidham could get the nod early in the year while they coach up their new acquisition on the side.
