Cam Akers sees 12 touches in Week 7 win

Cam Akers carried the ball 10 times for 31 yards and added two catches for 30 yards in a 22-17 win over the 49ers in Week 7.
Fantasy Impact:
Akers wound up seeing two more touches than starter Alexander Mattison in the win as the Vikings leaned on him to run out the clock in the fourth quarter, giving him five carries on their final drive. His biggest play of the night was a 30-yard reception in the second quarter. Akers will continue to mix in as the RB2 in Minnesota behind Alexander Mattison. He will face the Packers in Week 8.
