Marlon Mack outshined in preseason opener

Marlon Mack rushed the ball three times for only six yards during Houston's preseason opener against the Saints.
Fantasy Impact:
Mack entered the game as Houston's first-string running back and even returned kicks for the Texans. Unfortunately, the biggest star of the night on offense for Houston was rookie running back Dameon Pierce who had five carries for 49 yards. Mack currently figures as the leader of a running back by committee situation and will need to hold off Pierce if he wants to maintain his hold on the starting position. He'll have a chance to bounce back next Friday against the Rams.
