Fantasy Impact:
This move frees up $5m in cap space for the team, as well as incurring a $2.4m dead money charge. With Evan Engram set to be a free agent, expect the Giants to address the Tight End position via the draft or a less expensive free agent. Were they to enter the season without additions, fourth-year man Kaden Smith would be the projected starter. Smith showed flashes as a rookie in 2019, but has had limited impact since.
