Eligibility
Payton Pritchard will start on Friday against the Hornets.
Fantasy Impact
Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said he has no idea who’s starting tonight, but named Pritchard, Sam Hauser, and Luke Kornet as three starters with the usual Boston starting lineup all ruled out.
Payton Pritchard scored 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3PT) to go along with four rebounds and six assists in the Celtics 118-109 loss against the Knicks.
Fantasy Impact
Pritchard could be one of the many reserves who sees extended minutes in the final two games of the regular season with Boston having nothing to play for.
Payton Pritchard scored 20 points (9-13 FG, 2-4 3PT) to go along with three rebounds, eight assists and one steal in the Celtics 124-107 win over Portland.
Fantasy Impact
Pritchard played 26 minutes off the bench for Boston. He is worthy of being streamed in deeper leagues when the Celtics are short-handed in the back court.
Payton Pritchard scored 19 points with six rebounds and three assists in the Celtics’ 122-119 win over the Bucks on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Pritchard acted as Bostons main rotation man in this game and it paid off for the Celtics. He went 5-8 from three point range showing off a fantastic shooting performance and helping Boston stay ahead of a shorthanded but determined Bucks team. This marks the third game in a row where Pritchard has more than 30 minutes of playing time, and if he can keep getting a similar workload, he’s worth starting in the fantasy playoffs.
Payton Pritchard scored 28 points (11-16 FG, 6-9 3P) with four rebounds and three assists in the Celtics' 136-86 blowout win over the Nets on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Pritchard had not put up a 20-point performance in just over a month before putting up a big game Wednesday. It's a great look for him heading into the All-Star break but unless he sees more playing time and accumulates more stats because of it, he's tough to trust in fantasy lineups.
