Hornets GM Mitch Kupchak said Mark Williams will be re-evaluated again in another four weeks.
Fantasy Impact
Kupchak was "wary" to promise he will be back playing on the court in four weeks. “He did see a specialist in the last week (Kupchak refers to him as the best specialist in the country), it will take some time but he does expect 100% a return to play,” Kupchak said. Nick Richards should remain the starting center for Charlotte in the meantime.
Mark Williams (back) is still out for Friday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Fantasy Impact
There's still no timetable for Williams' return. He has been out of the lineup for an extended period of time because of a back issue, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of optimism surrounding his recovery. Nick Richards will continue to get a lot of work and be fantasy relevant for however long the big man remains out going forward.
Mark Williams (back) remains out for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors.
Fantasy Impact
The big man will remain out for yet another game on Wednesday. He has been out for a long time because of a back injury, and there doesn't seem to be much reason to believe that he will be back anytime soon. Nick Richards will continue to get the bulk of the work at the center position in his absence.
Mark Williams has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lakers.
Fantasy Impact
Williams has been sidelined since the first week of December. Nick Richards should continue to start at center for the Hornets.
Mark Williams (back) remains out for Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
Fantasy Impact
The Hornets will be without Williams again as a result of his back injury. There's no set date for his return, and fantasy managers should expect Nick Richards to continue to be a relevant fantasy option for however long Williams is out of the lineup.
