Goga Bitadze scored two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3PT) to go along with five rebounds, two assists and three blocks in the 109-92 loss for the Magic against the Hawks.
Fantasy Impact
With Paolo Banchero (illness) sidelined, Bitadze saw the spot start in his absence but only played 19 minutes. He did record an impressive three blocks in the limited playing time, but likely remains off the fantasy radar even if he sees another spot start.
Goga Bitadze scored four points (2-6 FG, 0-0 3PT, 0-0 FT), to go along with eight rebounds, three blocks, and two steals through 26 minutes in Sunday's 114-97 loss against the Boston Celtics.
Fantasy Impact
While Goga was limited offensively, he made up for it with his rebounding and stocks (combined steals and blocks). Bitadze has blocked three or more shots in three out of his last four games, making him a strong interior defender moving forward. Goga will look to keep this defensive intensity going against the Heat on Wednesday.
Goga Bitadze totaled three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3PT), five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in the Magic’s 130-125 win over the Wizards.
Fantasy Impact
Bitadze scored 3.0 points in the Magic’s win over the Wizards, further demonstrating his underwhelming scoring upside; however, he was able to salvage his production line by displaying his value as a multi-categorical contributor with 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks. He is a viable streaming option in most season-long leagues for those looking to bolster their production in rebounds, blocks, and scoring efficiency. Bitadze has a respectable production floor, but given his somewhat inflated price point, he may lack the upside needed to warrant serious consideration in daily formats. He could, however, have some appeal should he have a plus matchup. Bitadze has a usage rate of 12.9 percent, a plus-minus of 4.9, and averages 20.2 minutes, 6.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor and 25.0 percent from beyond the arc.
Goga Bitadze scored five points (2-6 FG, 1-4 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and five blocks in the 126-107 win for Orlando over Toronto.
Fantasy Impact
Bitadze did not do much as a scorer, but he wasn't needed in that area with six players scoring in double figures for the Magic. He was still able to fill the stat sheet, including tying a season-high with five blocks. Bitadze has 12 blocks in his last four games alone.
Goga Bitadze recorded eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, and four blocks across 22 minutes of Sunday’s 128-116 victory over the Pacers.
Fantasy Impact
Bitadze has played well since filling in for Wendell Carter Jr. (hand), especially on the defensive end. Since joining the starting five, Bitadze is averaging 8.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.9 blocks. He takes high-percentage looks and has had multiple stocks in every game he’s started. As long as WCJ is sidelined, Bitadze will continue to be a serviceable fantasy asset in season-long formats and an excellent source of salary relief in DFS.
