Michael Mersch scores his second goal of the preseason on Sunday

Michael Mersch scored a first period goal on an assist from Jordan Nolan against the Avalanche on Sunday. It was his second goal of the preseason.

Fantasy Impact

Mersch led the Kings on the evening with seven shots on goal. He also had a team high two takeaways. Currently the Kings have a solid group of forwards which will limit Mersch's ability to crack the opening day roster, but he's great minor league depth and could possibly make an impact later in the season if injuries take their toll on players ahead of him on the depth chart. Right now he's worth watching for 2016-17.
