John Bowker signs minor league deal with Giants
The Giants re-signed a former player in John Bowker to a minor league deal.
Fantasy Impact
Don't call it a comeback. Bowker last played for the Giants in 2010 and has spent a couple years in Japan. He has limited fantasy upside, and has only an outside shot at making the big league club. The Giants may be trying to see if resigning your former player is a market inefficiency, after positive returns and heroics from Ryan Vogelsong and Travis Ishikawa over the last half-decade.
