Stripling Stumbles Again in Loss to Rangers

Ross Stripling's latest outing on Wednesday against the Texas Rangers did little to reassure fantasy managers of his place in their rotations, as he allowed six earned runs over six innings in a 6-2 loss for the Oakland Athletics.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite racking up five strikeouts, Stripling was hammered for 11 hits and issued two walks, pushing his ERA to an unsettling 5.50 with a WHIP that ballooned to 1.72 for the season. While his 7.0 K/9 and 3.26 FIP suggest there might be some bad luck involved, especially with a sky-high .424 BABIP, these numbers offer cold comfort to those relying on him for fantasy production.
