Brent Rooker went 2-for-5 with an RBI in the Athletics' 5-3 defeat to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite a couple of hits and driving in a run, Rooker's performance was marred by striking out three times, which continues to highlight his high strikeout rate this season. With a .277 average and 10 homers over 36 games, Rooker has shown some power and run-producing ability, but his high strikeout rate (.336) and relatively low walk rate (.103) could be concerning for fantasy managers. His .386 wOBA indicates solid offensive production, but maintaining consistency will be key for Rooker to remain a viable fantasy option.
