Cameron Champ Withdraws from PLAYERS with Eight holes remaining

Disappointingly, I had to WD from my first @thePlayersChamp. I’ve been dealing with some tightness in my back throughout the week and it spasmed up pretty good today. My team and I decided it was best not to take any unnecessary risks. Good luck to the guys this weekend! (Cameron Champ Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Champ had a rough first go at Sawgrass On Thursday as he fired an opening round 81. He was two over par through eight holes on Friday before making the decision to stop play. This will be something to monitor as a young player with an aggressive move like Champ is certainly more susceptible to back issues (see: Tiger Woods). Hopefully he was just a little tight and wanted to head home and lick his wounds following a rough showing.
