by Chris Schommer | Maple Leafs Correspondent | Wed, Jan 3rd 9:02pm EST
Martin Jones was stellar between the pipes for the Maple Leafs Tuesday night, stopping all 31 shots faced in a 3-0 shutout win over the Kings.
Fantasy Impact:
Jones continues a solid stretch in net of late, allowing two goals or less in three of his last five starts (2-2-1) in the crease for the Maple Leafs. The veteran netminder will be tasked with carrying the goaltending duties for the near future with Joseph Woll (injured) and Ilya Samsonov (demoted) out of the mix for the time being, posting a 2.37 GAA and .926 save percentage in nine appearances (5-3-0) in the net so far this season.
