Kyle Bradish delivered a solid outing against the Yankees, allowing just one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings in Thursday's 7-2 victory.

Fantasy Impact

Despite not factoring into the decision, Bradish's performance was commendable, especially considering the strength of the opposition and it was his first start off the IL. Bradish missed the first month of the season and spring training with a partially torn UCL. It was good to see the velocity was there on all his pitches and his slider induced six whiffs. Fantasy managers should be encouraged by this performance, but keep expectations in check as he builds up to working deeper into games. He'll look to keep the ball rolling in his next start against the Washington Nationals.
