Braxton Garrett had a rough outing in Saturday's high-scoring affair against the Mets, allowing six earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out five over 4 1/3 innings.
Fantasy Impact
Despite the Marlins securing a narrow 10-9 victory, Garrett's performance did little to inspire confidence among fantasy managers. His ERA ballooned to 10.24 after just two starts, and while his strikeout rate remains impressive at 12.1 K/9, his susceptibility to hits and runs is a significant concern. The high BABIP (.407) suggests some bad luck, but Garrett's high ERA and WHIP indicate that relying on him in fantasy lineups could be risky without signs of improvement.
