Yusei Kikuchi earns quality start Sunday

by Owen Klukas | Blue Jays Correspondent | Mon, May 8th 1:07am EDT

Yusei Kikuchi (5-0) allowed zero runs on four hits over 6 1/3 innings Sunday versus the Pirates, earning the win in the 10-1 victory. The left-hander struck out three and yielded two walks in the 93-pitch outing.

Fantasy Impact:

Kikuchi has yet to take a loss in his seven starts this season. The lefty is one of six pitches to earn at least five wins this season. Also, the 33-year-old owns a crisp 33/8 K/BB ratio while allowing one of fewer runs in five of his seven starts. Kikuchi deserves to be owned in all leagues. The Iwate native is scheduled to start versus the Braves on Sunday in Toronto.
