Kumar Rocker, Mets not expected to reach agreement

According to Jeff Passan, the New York Mets do not plan to sign first-rounder Kumar Rocker. Sources say that Rocker didn't pass his physical examination due to an issue with his right elbow. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Rocker, the No. 10 overall pick for the Mets, was one of the most surprising picks in the draft. In Rocker's junior year at Vanderbilt, he went 14-4 with a 2.73 ERA and a 0.934 WHIP. He fell to 10th draft, which was a huge drop considering his early draft projections. If the Mets don't sign Rocker, he will be going back to Vanderbilt and the Mets will get the 11th pick in the 2022 draft as compensation.
