Week 2 will go down as one of the toughest weeks in recent memory when it comes to injuries. More than a few fantasy owners were unfortunate enough to lose up to half their starters to the infirmary. Ouch.
Of course, this means it was also a tricky week for the experts to predict. It’ll therefore come as no surprise that the ratings are lower this week due to all of the unforeseen outcomes. Below are the 10 experts who navigated the uncertainty better than the rest. As always, you can check out the entire standings in our accuracy section.

Congrats to Sigmund Bloom (FootballGuys) for landing the top score in week 2. Even with the rash of injuries, there was plenty of good advice handed out. Bloom was among a group of just 7% of experts that rated Ahmad Bradshaw (2 TDs) as a top 30 RB. It should go without saying too that he had Bradshaw ranked firmly above Trent Richardson. Bloom was also higher than all but 2 experts on Sammy Watkins (8 rec, 117 yds, 1 TD). His rank for the rookie standout (WR #27) was 21 spots above the Expert Consensus. As far as players who disappointed, Bloom made a gutsy decision to devalue Arizona’s wide receivers, presumably because Carson Palmer was out of action. Both Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald were consensus top 25 wideouts but Bloom had both outside of his top 35. Neither player finished inside the top 40. It didn’t hurt Bloom’s cause either that he was among the roughly 20% of experts that rated Antonio Gates (3 TDs) as a top 12 TE. That effectively served as a recommendation to start Gates against a tough Seattle defense in 12 team leagues.
